 Strategic Safety Partners is led by Lead Consultant Robert B. Freitas Jr., a public safety professional with more than 15 years of law enforcement experience. Robert’s career spans major case investigations, emergency management, and school safety fields where stakes are high and preparation matters.

Much of his investigative work focused on cases involving children, which honed his understanding of vulnerability, trauma, and the need for proactive security measures in educational and community settings. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Florida and went on to complete a Master of Science in Emergency Preparedness Leadership and Criminal Justice at Nova Southeastern University, equipping him with both operational know-how and academic rigor.

As a sworn law enforcement officer, Robert also served as a Safe School Officer, giving him firsthand insight into the daily realities of school security, student behavior, and interagency coordination. That experience informs his consulting approach today—blending threat assessment, policy development, and practical training to help organizations create safer environments without sacrificing their mission or culture.

Under his leadership, Strategic Safety Partners works with schools, faith-based organizations, and other institutions to evaluate vulnerabilities, build resilient safety plans, and train staff to respond effectively to crises.
